Research on Concept and Approaches of Ontology Mapping

Ontology mapping is the key step of the ontology integration. The instruction of ontology mapping is the basic task of share and communication among different Ontologies in distributed environment. Firstly the concept of ontology mapping is introduced by an example. Secondly the ontology mapping approaches are summarized from angles of instruction and implementation. Lastly the current problems of ontology mapping and the trend of research areas are discussed.
