Open test software architecture is critical to implementthe extensibility and portability of ATS( Automatic Test System) .It also reduces the development cost of ATS. Teststand providesmany features that facilitate the set- up of open test software ar-chitecture. Utilizing Teststand as the core, this paper representsa basic solution of open test software architecture, and intro-duces the components that make up the architecture, then analy-ses the architecture in detail.
