The design of network element Agent for distributed network management

Traditional distributed network management usually adopts concentrated management.The old version of NeAgent(Network Element Agent) can not satisfy the practical requirements because of frequent cutovers of equipment suppliers in GSM network management system of Heilongjiang Unicom.In this paper,we incorporate the intelligent Agent philosophy into distributed network management,and design the third version of NeAgent.The new version of NeAgent takes full account of the defects of the old version,and unifies the direct connecting NE and the non-direct connecting NE,providing more powerful connection modes and perfect management function.
