The Evaluation Model of Road Safety Based on Drivers' Information Processing

When vehicle travels,the driving condition includes a great deal of information.All factors,such as road condition and management method,ultimately influence the driver's information processing strength.The driver needs to carry on information processing in time,and then takes actions in order to drive safely.This paper established the evaluation model of the road traffic safety according to driver information processing.In the example,the road traffic information is defined into the linear function of road curvature D,and then 85th percentile operating speed difference of closed road section is combined to put forward the evaluation index.
