The major problems regarding the infringement of computer software in China are software registration, software lease and the end user and the like. C hina's legal system about the intellectual asset in the form of copyright and /o r patent will meet new opportunities and challenges after becoming a member coun try of the WTO. Hence the protection of intellectual asset should be practiced i n accordance with the requirements of the WTO.
