In a distributed database management system (DDBMS), the Code GenerationModel is important to implement the distribution transparency of both thefragmentation and allocatoin of the system. The efficiency of the system isdependent on it. The design methodology of the Code Generation Mechanism ofDDBMS is discussed with the Code Generation Model (CGM) in C-POREL as anexample. The design of CGM in C-POREL and its necessary algorithms are given.Some examples are also described.
