Application of wavelet transform to determining location of defects in pile

Mallat binary wavelets quick algorithm of multiresolution analysis is used here.And Db5 wavelet is introduced to analyze instantaneous response curves of fracture,break and shallow defects piles.It is shown that from the results of wavelets transform,reflected waves of defects and pile bottom can be found clearly;and locations of these defects can be acquired easily so as to offer guidance of repair plan.
