On Freedom of Network Speech and Its Protection in China

Freedom of speech,as a basic right of citizens granted by constitution,is a double-edged sword.With the development of technology,the Internet provides a broader platform for freedom of speech and freer expression space for people.People enjoy the speed and convenience brought by freedom of network speech and simultaneously are intruded on and hurt by it.On the basis of analyzing the characteristics of freedom of network speech and using for reference the foreign management experience on it,this paper puts forward some suggestions for the improvement of freedom of network speech,such as regulating network speech legislation,strengthening the government's management of the network,setting up the boundaries of network speech in order to fully weigh the protection and limits of freedom of network speech.
