The Extraction of Image Feature Based on Content Retrieval

According to the feature of static images, this paper presents a method of reading BMP files under C. The values (R,G,B)about each pixel of different bitmap pixel's value can be obtained in this way. Several typical color and the arithmetically extracted texture feature are anyalysized through the convertion in different color spaces, and the feature can be extracted by using the color based and texture based image retrieval algorithm. The paper also anyalyzed the efficiency of feature extraction by using different quantitative methods.
