In the D/A mixed signal circuit design, the voltage reference is one of the most important module.Due to the disadvantages that the voltage reference generated by the traditional circuit can be influenced by the supply and temperature easily,a novel circuit is designed. The designed circuit doesn′t use the bipolar transistor, and forms two negative TCs voltages based on the MOS thresholds which are independent of the power supply and the mobility.By subtracting the two voltage then overcome the problem of a fixed reference voltage in the conventional CMOS bandgap. This circuit is designed based on the 0.5 μm CMOS process, and its performance has been verified reaching the design goal by HSpice simulation.
