Application of Color Doppler Ultrasonography in Diagnostic Budd-Chiari Syndrome

Objective To assess the diagnostic value of the color Doppler flow imaging in patients with Budd-Chiari syndrome.Methods Application of color Doppler ultrasound in 35 patients with Budd-Chiari syndrome by ultrasonography and diagnostic results was analyzed and the Budd-Chiari syndrome was divided into 3 types:simple obstruction of the hepatic vein,inferior vena cava obstruction and mixed type.Results There were 4 cases of simple hepatica vena obstruction,18 cases of inferior vena cava obstruction,and 10 cases of mixed type.There were 3 cases misdiagnosed as cirrhosis of the liver.The diagnostic accordance rate of color ultrasonography was 91.4%.Conclusion Color Doppler ultrasonography can display the blockage parts of blood vessels,the degree,the scope and the collateral circulation in Budd-Chiari syndrome.It may be the first choice for the diagnosis of Budd-Chiari syndrome.
