Thermal Entanglement in a Two-level Atom-cavity Nonresonant System

Yuliang Li · Journal of Minjiang University · 2006

We investigated the system consisting of a two -level atom and cavity in a non -resonant case, atom -cavity entanglement in time evolution and the thermal entanglement by means of concurrence. The result shows that the atom-cavity maximal entangled state appears at T=0 under the condition △=0 or |△|=2g). There exists a critical temperature Tc=1.134hg/k which is independent of a detuning frequency △. The thermal entanglement vanishes under the condition TTc and it decreases with the increasing of temperature under the condition TTc.
