Advances on the Prevention of Community Elderly Fall

Fall is the first cause of injury and death of community elderly,Physical state of elderly,social and behavior factors and internal and external environment of the room are risk factors of elderly fall.Direction intervention to the risk factors is a main strategy to prevent community elderly falls.Many studies showed that physical exercise,medical intervention and room facility improvement are effective ways to prevent falls,and combined intervention proved to be effective.At present,Prevention of falls among the elderly should be the work goals of the public health sector.
