An Algorithm Model of Word Omni-segmentation for Written Chinese

Firstly, the problems of word Omni segmentation have been disscussed in this paper. And then, several concepts have been given, including the formula of obtainning the set of omni segmentation, the segmentation tree, the omni segmentation DAG graph. Based on these, a model of word omni segmentation has been proposed, and the problem of redundant segmentation existed generally in the process of omni segmentation has been pointed out. Then the algorithm of serial word omni segmentation and the method of early prunning of unaccepted segmentation forms have been especially discussed. Eventually, a model of serial word omni segmentation algorithm is given.
