Research on the scheme supporting mobility of TCP application

Providing effective support of mobility is a current hot research issue. The Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) introduced by IETF has flexible and easy deployment features to solve the MN's global mobility problem. However, the TCP connection will be broken off during the handoff process in the SIP environment. In this paper the authors propose an approach based on SIP_-EYE and SIP INFO method to realizing the mobility of TCP application.
