Note on Continued Fraction Attack on RSA

RSA is one of the most widely used and popular public key algoithm.In this paper,a generalization of continued fraction attack on it is presented.More precisely,let(e,N) be a RSA public key with corresponding private key d,then N can be factored provided that there exists a proper integer k such that ekφ(N) and dk.modφ(N)N0.25.Experiments show that the generalization of continued fraction attack can seek out some new weak keys of RSA.
