Application of Image Segmentation Based on Deformable Templates in Medical Image

A method for the segmentation of images using deformable templates is presented in this paper. The essential of the method is implementing the most similarity measure of the target and template images by deforming the template so as to achieve the segmentation of the target image. This method for the segmentation of images using deformable templates can be applied in some fields of medical image's apparatus segmentation.
