The Schema Theorem of Evolution Based on Gene Expression Programming

Current GEP research lacks theoretical foundation.This baffles the developing of GEP.To solve this issue, the schema and relative concepts over GEP were defined,the mechanisms for operators in GEP were analyzed via probability method,and the proof for the schema theorem over GEP was given.Theoretical results were validated by extensive experiments.The results showed that the schema theorem provides quantitative standard for GEP algorithm's improving.
