Virtual plant is the plant's growth and development in the three dimension by the application of computer simulation,and it is the emerging technology in recent 20 years.The paper discusses the virtual plant`s scope of analysing,and introduces the virtual soft L_system,analysises the charateristic of external morphology of plant,and combines the essence of morphological change of each organic during the growth process of the rape,dynamic simulate the configuration of the rape during the various growth phase,especially simulates the stalk,and summarizes the structures of the data about the L_systems and the branches of rape,it is more favor of accuracy simulate the boby morphological structure.Finally,the paper gives the aspects of the interaction between rape and environment,and another aspects.
