This paper presents a methodology of simulation credibility evaluation based on AHP. The concept of credibility is analyzed when it was render to the different Chinese terms——one is a qualitative term the other is quantitative. Then the relation between simulation credibility evaluation and VVA and several vital problems such as how to reduce the subjective effect of SME to the evaluative conclusion and how to measure the qualitative indexes are discussed. Extending this methodology and constructing a expert knowledge base to aid , the HIL simulation credibility of torpedo control system is assessed.
