This paper introduces'the working principle and the application of intrinsically safe mine laser instrument used for laneway section detection.The machines use laser ranging target without technical cooperation and angle measurement precision digital data acquisition technology,and then using polar coordinates measurement closely with the computer system of combining technology and specially designed image processing software.It con receive quickly actual laneway section.This intrinsically safe equipment is ideal for mine digital mapping and mines controlling.
