Design of slot waveguide antenna by using HFSS and MATLAB

The electromagnetic simulation sofware,HFSS,is widely used in electromagnetic simulation design because of the high simulation accuracy and reliability. For complex antenna,it takes much time to creat the model with HFSS's 3D modeling function. Using HFSS's VBScript function as an interface,so it can establish the model fast with MATLAB and HFSS. This paper proposed a set of slot waveguide antenna design method,designed a slot waveguide antenna,established its model with MATLAB and HFSS collaboratively,and simulated it with HFSS. The results indicated the accuracy and feasibility of this co- design manner between MATLAB and HFSS.
