Pseudo-snapshot Construction Based on Forward-backward Cyclic Correlation Function

A new kind of pseudo-snapshot for general signal model including narrow-band signal and wide-band signal is constructed by applying FFT (Fast Fourier Transformation) and CSM (Coherent Sub-space Method) on signal's forward-backward cyclic correlation function. A virtual array with doubly augmented aperture of true array can be obtained. As a result, when applying conventional MUSIC on the pseudo-snapshot, two times the number of DOA can be detected and higher resolution can be achieved in comparison with Cyclic-MUSIC algorithm and SC-SSF algorithm. Simulation results give some demonstrative examples.
