Study on the Methods for a New Exterior Ballistic Measurement Based on Radio

On the basis of range finding principle of multi-base passive radar, a new method for exterior ballistic radio measurement was put forward in this paper, in which the high accuracy of time synchronization was realized by hydrogen atomic clock or globe positioning system (GPS) among various measuring stations. The composition of the system was given, and key technologies such as time synchronization with high accuracy, small frequency agile radar transmitter, wide band instantaneous frequency measurement receiver and real-time processing system were also discussed. The analysis of accuracy showed that this new method could improve the measurement, distance and anti-jamming ability.
