On the Security of Windows 2000

With the development of the computer and internet technology,the computer crime is more and more rampant.So system administrators must adopt some effective ways to avoid it.The paper mainly discusses some measures of the safety maintenance under Windows 2000,for example,file formats,firewall,anti-virus software and system patch,etc,and the ways for setting the group policy,auditing,safety log,users right of the system in order to improve the security and offer the effective safeguard for the server.
