TCP Performance Enhancement in Satellite Communication System

When used with satellite links,traditional TCP suffers a number of performance problems,especially for higher propagation delay,bit error rate,asymmetrical bandwidth.The Effects on TCP performance of satellite link are analyzed,and several methods of improving TCP performance are introduced and analyzed.Some modified TCPs have been simulated.Finally,proposes are given on research of TCP enhancement.
