Analysis of Different Radar Receivers

According to the main task of the receiver in radar system,several ways are introduced to design the receiver.Through researching of analog receiver system and comparing of technology used in main kinds of receivers,such as super heterodyne receiver,direct down-converting receiver,image rejecting receiver,digital zero-intermediate frequency receiver.The character and application of those receivers are given.Although the super heterodyne receiver is used most popularly in radar system at present,because of its advantage in image rejection and well to process the intermediate frequency,the direct digital receiver will become to be more popular than other receivers in the future with the development of analog to digital converter's performance.
