An Improved Two-Port Clutter Suppression Interferometer
Shaohua Ye · Systems engineering and electronics · 2002
The principle of two port clutter suppression interferometer is analyzed. The influence of system errors and noise on the capability for suppressing the main lobe clutter is also discussed. The modification on the most critical weighting factor of this two port interferometer is proposed. Theoretical analyses and simulation results show that this improved two port interferometer is insensitive to system errors or noise and is robust in clutter cancellation, thus allowing for the detection of slowly moving military targets which are otherwise masked by main lobe clutter.
