Web Service Based Design and Implementation of Parlay/OSA Framework

In third-generation network,third-party service developers could access to the network resources using Parlay/OSA APIs(Parlay/Open Service Access Application Program Interface),which allow service developers to create and deploy their service rapidly. Parlay is an technology-independent,and can be implemented using CORBA、JAVA or Web Service.In this paper,we provide a comparison of Web Services and Parlay/OSA architecture, and describe some issues and solutions is developping Parlay/OSA Framework using web service.Finally,we also present a prototype of the developped system.
