Web services is a new Internet distributed application framework,it represents the necessity trend of next generation network computing and enterprise application,and it separates business transaction from client interaction,has mass application requirement and market potential.Multi-tier distributed database overcomes a good many of abuses of traditional application system, and it is a mainstream model of enterprise application.To build multi-tier database distributed on Web services can exert both of their superiorities sufficiently,and can meet the requirement of opening, stander and security.So,based on Web services to develop multi-tier distributed database is a necessity resultto adapt to the requirement of enterprise network application,and it represents the necessity trend of research and development of network and database technologies now and future.
