Research on Short-term Traffic Flow Forecasting of Urban Roadway Based on Maximum Signal Control Cycle

Aaccording to the chaotic characteristic in time series of the urban traffic flow with sampling period of three minutes,which is the maximum cycle to signal control,a local-forecasting method is ntroduced to predict the traffic flow based on the theory of phrase space reconstruction.It shows that the forecasting data meet well with the real data.
