Joint network and channel coding for practical implementation of the denosie-andforward protocol over bi-directional relaying were discussed.First,the effect of the relative carrier phase offset on the system performance over the complex channel was investigated.Second,a simplified decoding algorithm was proposed for joint network and channel coding.Simulation results show that the proposed simplified decoding algorithm performs very close to the optimum one but with much lower complexity.
