A Two-Phase Key Recovery Method Based on the Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem

Lu Xiang · Computer Engineering and Science · 2001

Key recovery allows authorized parties to retrieve the cryptographic keys used for data confidentiality, with the ultimate goal of the recovery of encrypted data.By offering similar levels of security, the Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem(ECC) provides greater efficiency than either integer factorization systems or discrete logarithm systems,in terms of computational overheads, key sizes, and bandwidth. This paper presents a two phase key recovery method based on the elliptic curve cryptosystem. The experiment shows this method is secure and highly efficient.
