Symbolic text indicator assisted teaching of application software

A teaching method assisted by symbolic text indicator path is proposed in order to enhance the teaching efficiency of the application software written based on Windows operating system and to standardize the classroom teaching.The concepts of step,path and process,as well as the text indicator symbol,are all defined.The issues regarding the standardization of the description symbols and the text annotations are approached,and some application examples employing Protel,a general EDA tool software,as a teaching carrier presented.Practice shows that the method can simplify information transfer ways,facilitate written communications,help to conduct standardized teaching of similar courses,and hence is worthwhile being popularized
