Edge Detection, Tracking, and Compensation in CT Image Surface Render

In this paper, wavelet transform algorithm is use d to detect edge in CT image, and the edge image was tracked and compensated thr ough using the improved CT image information sufficiently. Through finding local peak in the neighborhood of the line which is perpendicular to the edge directi on, we can compensate for the missing edge. The experimental results show that t he algorithm is feasible.
