Research on distributed knowledge discovery system in both database andknowledgebase

By exploiting multi-agent technology and multi-tier architecture,DKD(DK) which is an overall distributed knowledge discovery model based on inner mechanism is proposed.The model offers a road map for distributed knowledge discovery based on double bases cooperating mechanism.According to the road map,various steps in the process of distributed knowledge discovery are synthesized.These steps include distributed data preprocessing,distributed data mining and discovered pattern evaluation and navigation.The model not only preserves the original features of KD(DK),but also rests on the mature technologies of distributed database.Em-pirical studies show that with its inherent features,the proposed model outperforms previously published distributed knowledge discovery system to a certain extent.
