An ontology-based methodology for transformation of medical database to electronic health records

There are many systems that are isolated in medical area,the autonomy and heterogeneous of data bring challenges to database integration without changing data structure. To solve this problem,this paper transferred relational database to electronic health records ontology based on analyses of keys,attributes,triggers and constraints. And also presented a prototype to realize the method and prove the feasibility and effectiveness.
