Simultion on Performance Enhancing Proxy Based on TCP in Heterogeneous Network

Transmission Control Protocol has been widely used in Internet nowadays. However, it performed poorly due to the long delay and large bit error rate of the net. This article analyzes the factors that influence the performance of TCP in the heterogeneous networks, and illustrates the construction process of PEP simulation model in NS2. Meanwhile, the emulated simulation experiments are carried out and the model is proved to be correct after the analysis of the simulation results.
