Evaluation of substation primary equipment intellectualization based on TOPSIS

A method to evaluate the intellectualization retrofitting level of substation primary equipment is presented according to the intellectualization scheme of substation primary equipment.After the wide investigation of intellectualization retrofitting conditions in East China and Central China,a multi-objective optimization evaluation model is established and the TOPSIS(Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method is introduced,which,as a practical example,is applied to comprehensively evaluate the intellectualization retrofitting level of primary equipment for different regional substations.Comparison of evaluation results between the traditional analytic hierarchy process and the proposed method validates the accuracy of the proposed method and illustrates its lower computation load,less subjective factors,higher distinction degree and better extensibility.
