The Application of Shannon Curve in Joint Source Channel Coding for Speech Signal

As the dramatic development of the the communication industry in these decades,the Shannon's mapping theory is more and more important in coder designing.Based on Shannon's mapping theory,a joint source channel coding for speech signal is designed by using the Shannon mapping curve in this paper.The structure of this joint source channel coder is simple,and the coder is easy to implement.Besides,it is an effective method to improve the bandwidth utilization.
