Medical Image Denoising in Wavelet Based on a New Kind of Thresholding Function

Image denoising is an important part of Image processing.Wavelet threshold denoising is an important method in the signal processing.A novel thresholding function is proposed based on the wavelet threshod denoising method put forward by Donoho.This new threshoding function has many advantages over the classical soft and hard thresholding function.It ovcomes the shortcoming of the traditiongal thresholding function.It is clear in physical meaning and simple in expression.By changing N(const),we can chang the trend of this new function.According to experiment,results were compared and analyed.The method was applied to medical images and its results were encouraging.
