The Realizing Scheme for the adaptive IP QoS Mechanism

This paper provides a kind of adaptive QoS mechanism in IP network. When System resources can't satisfy the transmission's needs of multimedia stream, the adaptive function is used to manage Qos dynamically. This mechanism can solve the problem of stopping the transmission of multimedia stream in former IP QoS model when System resources are not enough. After adopting the adaptive IP Qos mechanism, the QoS standard of current multimedia stream' s transmission can be satisfied by debasing the Qos level of other multimedia streams of which priorities are lower than current multimedia stream. Finally, the adaptive IP QoS arithmetic is proved by using simulation and presents the simulation result.
