Application of coordinate mapping model of double viewpoints image based on SIFT matching

Aiming at stereoscopic image generation,this article proposes a reconstruction method for image which has the problem of lens cover. Using scale invariant feature transform,image features are extracted and described. When image features have been matched between images at double viewpoints, the coordinate mapping model can be built by solving the basic matrix using the method of random sample consensus. At last,this model is used for image reconstruction,by replacing broken parts of the image with corresponding parts at the other viewpoint. Reliable 3D material can be provided, and the experiments show that the method processes at high speed and robustness.
