Research on Temperature Distribution Characteristics of Arrester Varistors

The inherent thermal characteristics of the arrester varistors is studied, the temperature distribution of arrester at normal operating voltages is measured. For the normal and deterioration arrester, without gap and gap arrester, various comparison test are carried out, the temperature changes are measured respectively. Research the influence of the condition that the varistors occurring damp or electrical aging on the temperature distribution of surge arrester. real data is provided for lightning arrester fault diagnosis by using the temperature criterion, and also strong support is offered for the state evaluation of arrester.
