Study on the Ontology Reasoning of Semantic Web

As a new generation of Web,Semantic Web has drawn considerable attention from both academia and industry. The ontology,regarded as its cornerstone,is playing an important role in knowledge expression and knowledge reasoning. The ontology language,description logic and the relationship between them are introduced,and the principle of semantic reasoning on DL and its reasoning mechanism is analyzed. Finally,a concrete ontology construction is exemplified to perform and testify its practical reasoning tasks.
