A Method of Digital Camera Calibration for Video Total Station

The method based on direct linear transformation model is often used in digital camera calibration.In this paper a method of digital camera calibration for video total station is developed,which using pixel as image elements and that the problem of transformation between pixel and normal units can be ignored.Based on this,the influence to system error by pixel dimension is discussed,and the necessary precision for pixel dimension is calculated.Finally the result of experiment indicates that this method gains better effects.
