Image scrambling degree evaluation method based on information entropy

Abstract: In the information hiding algorithms based on digital images,it is very important to evaluate the image scrambling degree.In this paper,The ratio of the block information entropy and the whole information entropy is used as criteria to measure image scrambling degree,and the adjacent pixel-value difference average is used as weighting coefficient to present a new image scrambling degree evaluation method.The results show that it is so effective to describe image scrambling degree.
