Outage Probability Analysis of MIMO Relay System with TAS/MRC

Considering that it is more suitable to model relay channel with Nakagami,closed-form expressions of outage probability is derived for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) relaying channels in two-hop nonregenerative relay networks operating over Nakagami fading channels.The effects of fading parameters and antenna configuration on the overall system performance are analyzed and discussed with assistance of representative numerical examples.Simulation shows that the channel quality of the first hop link in nonregenerative MIMO relaying system adds major influence on outage performance.
