Channel Assignment in Wireless Mesh Network with Multi-radio and Multi-channel

The use of multi-radio and multi-channel in wireless mesh networks(WMN) can improve network capacity effectively.The paper introduces the network architecture of wireless mesh network with multi-radio and multi-channel,and the corresponding channel assignment problem.It summarizes several important channel assignment models,including protocol model and physical model,which are helpful for research,discusses the key issues of channel assignment,and proposes challenges of channel assignment for WMN with multi-radio and multi-channel.
