Farmland classification and assessment is an important part of land resources survey and evaluation.The datum quantity of farmland classification and gathering of Guangdong Province reach 10GB.How to manage and utilize these data efficiently has become a difficult problem of farmland classification and gathering.Traditional way of managing data has been incapable of meeting the need of modern application.There is great sense to utilize the fruit of farmland classification and gathering,establishing a stable,efficient and powerful farmland classification fruit management information system.In this paper,we introduce the basic instance of Guangdong Province farmland classification data,establish the Guangdong farmland classification and gathering information system based on component GIS.It manages the classification and gathering fruit in frame and function.We also analyze the practicability and efficiency of the system.
